SHE SHOULD SUE HERSELF
Robin Earnest of Saline County, Ark., was attending Malvern College when she broke two fingers while playing musical chairs. She then demanded the state of Arkansas pay her $75,000, saying she was compelled to participate in order to earn class credit; and the state should pay her for surgeries, physical therapy, mental and emotional distress. Last heard, no ruling had been reached. (http://www.insurancejournal.com/news/southcentral/2015/07/12/374778.htm)
EXPENSIVE OLD MACDONALD’S FARM
New York's Kennedy Airport is planning soon to open a new luxury terminal that will handle the more than 70,000 animals flying in and out every year. It is being named the ARK at JFK, inspired by Noah’s boat. Horses and cows will occupy sleek, climate-controlled stalls with showers, and doggies will lounge in hotel suites featuring flat-screen TVs. They’ll even have a special private space for penguins in heat. (Total building price $48 million.)
