Gwen McCann, 42, of Russellville, Arkansas, was arrested carrying burglar's tools, two gallon-size bags of tobacco, a cellphone and "a small amount of suboxone strips; while using bolt cutters to slice through a fence. All this effort was an attempt to re-enter the same Franklin County jail she’d been released from two weeks earlier. The Times Union of Albany report the police in Saratoga County pulled over a car being driven by a 10-year-old. The child’s father, John Barling, 46, too drunk to drive, was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child and permitting unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
