WEIRD, BIZARRE and UNUSUAL (.1342)

SHAME ON DADDY!
Police in New Berlin, Wis., say Scott Birk, 31, was seen on a Walmart security camera in the jewelry department, but denied stealing earrings; his claims were shot down when the security guard overheard Birk’s 6-year-old daughter telling him to stop the thievery. MORE THAN A MINOR DUSTING
Honolulu, Hawaii – Neighbors of 73-year-old Laura Matsuzaki say they had complained for years and were thrilled in July 2015 when the Department of Planning and Permitting finally cleaned her home up. Going back to 2004, Matsuzaki had received some $200,000 in fines and citations before authorities, forced to work among the filth and smell of dead rats, urine, feces and mold, removed 42,000 pounds of filthy trash and junk. COULD’VE BITTEN HIM HIMSELF
Tucson News Now tells of Nathaniel Buck Harrison, 38, of Oracle, who, on July 23, 2015, was arrested and held on $50,000 bail, after hitting his 53-year-old victim with a board, then trying to get a rattlesnake to bite him.
