WEIRD, BIZARRE and UNUSUAL (.1341)

NOT A TEMPORARY ATTITUDE
In July 2015, a neighbor of Phoenix resident Trina Heisch, 49, was shocked when Trina’s husband, Kenneth Wakefield, 43, answered the door looking “different.” That difference being, his left forearm and one of his eyeballs were missing. When police arrived, they found Trina’s headless body inside the house. Trina and Kenneth met while each was institutionalized, both for attempted murder of a relative. Trina was out in 2010, after serving her sentence. Wakefield, determined harmless by the Arizona Psychiatric Security Review Board, was released 10 months ago. MARRIAGE COUNSELING MIGHT HELP
Jason Stanford of Alexandria, Virginia, says he's an "astronaut wife", and he and his sons Henry, 13, and Hatcher, 11, have accepted Sonia's departure and are excited for her to go. Where is she going? According to Texas Monthly, in 2026 she will be joining a crew of four taking a one-way trip to Mars.   (http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/weird-news/husband-admits-hes-ready-send-6185563))
ARMADILLOS ARE TOUGH
On June 29, 2015, a Texas man (name withheld) was airlifted to a hospital, after one of three .38 caliber bullets he’d shot at an armadillo ricocheted off and penetrated his jaw. Two months prior, when another man shot at an armadillo, the bullet bounced back to hit his mother-in-law (http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/weird-news/man-shot-head-after-bullet-6176632)
