WEIRD, BIZARRE and UNUSUAL (.1126)

IS WILEY A REAL COYOTE?
Though Dallas (TX) County Commissioner John Wiley Price was indicted on criminal charges in July 2014, due to huge amounts of evidence needed to go through, his court date, and that of three co-defendants, was postponed 19 months until January 2016. Prosecutors say their computer evidence alone contains 6.5 terabytes (The equivalent of about 360 million pages). And, though it’s estimated “only” 2.5 terabytes will remain after processing and culling, that is still some 60 million pages. (Dallas Morning News, 12-27-14)
LET’S ALL “YAWN” TOGETHER
NBC's "Today" show reported early December 2014, the heartbreak parents felt after going out of their way to find names for their infants seldom used by others, only to learn three names they picked - "Mason," "Liam," "Lily" - actually appeared on the BabyCenter's annual list of most popular names of 2014 (6th, 3rd and 8th, respectively). GET STONED AT YOUR DOOR
If you live in the San Francisco area and wish “high” quality mail, you might consider joining Marvina, a San Francisco-based high-end cannabis subscription box service. If you’ve got a verifiable medical prescription it’ll hand-deliver buds to you every month, or anytime. Prices range from $95 to $325. And each box has a printout explaining the strains’ effects, flavor profiles and history.
