SHE SHOULD BE HORSE-WHIPPED
A spousal abuse call to police in Tayport, Scotland, caused the arrest of Irene Clark, 65, who spent 48 hours in jail ...for swatting her husband with a magazine while they argued over which TV show to watch. His wound, a paper cut, required no professional medical treatment. (The Scotsman/Edinburgh, 11-24-14)
GRINCH JAILED FOR CHRISTMAS
How low can a low-life go? Sunbury, Pa., police arrested Sean Ashelman, 24, on Dec. 22, 2014, for stealing a Christmas gift intended for the 2-year old child he was babysitting. He stole the child’s Mickey Mouse table and chair, returned it to the store and collected a $30 refund. Unable to come up with his $25,000 bail, Ashelman spent his Christmas behind bars. ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS LEATHERS?
To get even with his father concerning alcohol drinking, a Gray, La., father named his son Jack Daniels Leathers, after the famous whisky. Now, 31-years later, Jack Daniels has named his son Jim Beam Leathers, after another famous brand of bourbon. (The AP, 12-26-14)
