WEIRD, BIZARRE and UNUSUAL (.1113)



 HIS ATTORNEY SHOULD PROTEST?
The city of Pocatello, Idaho, had an unusual “pedestrian” when a 1,000-pound cow being prepared for slaughter jumped a 6-foot fence, and bolted through the streets. The police cornered the animal in a residential backyard, advancing its execution date with a bullet to the brain. DEALING WITH A BUNCH OF JERKS
Some people think the South Dakota Office of Highway Safety’s new slogan to keep people from over-correcting and jerking their steering wheels in icy conditions, sounds offensive. That slogan being: Don’t Jerk and Drive.
HE RAN ALL THE WAY TO HEAVEN
McAllen, Texas, Commissioner Scott Crane did his part to try and improve his city’s health by creating the McAllen Marathon in 2013. Then, one year later, while running in this marathon on December 7, 2014, Crane suddenly suffered a fatal heart attack. (The AP, 12-15-14)
