WEIRD, BIZARRE and UNUSUAL (.1068)

FRIENDS’ FUN FAILED
Friends gave Welshman Andrew Holland, 51, a joke XXX video showing a tryst between a woman and a man in a tiger costume. Problem was, word got around and Holland was arrested for possession of bestiality porn ...until it was realized the “tiger” was only a costume. Also, after losing his job and having a heart attack, another charge was dropped ...when prosecutors decided a 6-second-clip showing violent genital mutilation was a “spoof” featuring ketchup and cocktail sausages. HE “DUMPED” HIS OWN GUILT
Albuquerque’s KOAT-TV reports a September 2014 home burglary, where $250,000 was taken, has been solved, all thanks to DNA samples left behind. The evidence that Ramon Herrera, 33, did the crime was found because he “forgot to flush” the toilet. (http://abcnews.go.com/Weird/wireStory/dna-toilet-leads-police-burglary-suspect-26557733)
MOVE TO A SHELTER, THEN
Former chairman of the Federal Reserve, Ben Bernanke, told a conference in Chicago, though his post-government income will be several times what he earned as Fed chairman, he was still rejected when he tried to refinance his Washington, D.C., home. Since he was considered no longer “employed” in a steady job, a computer program rated him “too risky.” (New York Times, 10-2-14)
