WEIRD, BIZARRE and UNUSUAL (.1063)

COULD’VE PAID WASHING DISHES
A fellow you’re familiar with had his credit card turned down at a New York restaurant in September 2014, because someone had stolen his identity. Good thing his wife, Michelle Obama, had one that worked. (The AP, 10-18-14)
WHAT? NO BRA? NO WONDER
After surgery at the Delaware Surgery Center in Dover, Andrew Walls, 32, sued. According to his attorney, "When the plaintiff initially presented for his colonoscopy he had not been wearing pink women’s underwear and at no time did the plaintiff voluntarily, knowingly or intentionally place the pink women’s underwear upon himself." The lawsuit seeks damages for intentional infliction of that emotion stress. A doctor who knew him had pulled the prank. SMOKING: HAZARDOUS TO FREEDOM
Paul Carman, 38, was so nervous he stopped running and bummed a cigarette off a construction worker. But this caused the worker to remember which way he ran when police came by; so he was soon arrested and later given 10 years in prison for bank robbery. (http://kslx.com/tag/paul-carman/)
