WEIRD, BIZARRE and UNUSUAL (.1054)

CORRECTION MADE 162 YEARS LATER
In October 2014, The New Jersey Herald finally got around to a “delayed” correction in their publication. The error stated “Boy killed and eaten by a bear!”, which led readers to believe it happened locally. When, in reality, the story was first published in Little Rock, Ark., Sept. 11, 1852. (The AP, 10-11-14)
ENJOY: DEATH, DESERT AND MUSIC
A September 2014 raid on an ISIS safe house in Syria turned up a Dell laptop owned by Tunisian jihadist "Muhammad S.," containing recipes for bubonic plague and ricin, a recipe for banana mousse and a variety of songs by Celine Dion. (Foreign Policy magazine, 9-9-14)
SHE WAS 65-YEARS HIS SENIOR
According to the Associated Press, October 11, 2014, a 35-year-old Wichita, Kansas, man was arrested, not only for burglary of a home, but also the rape of a woman... who had already celebrated her 100th birthday.
