WEIRD, BIZARRE and UNUSUAL (.1052)

PRAISE THE ... MONEY
Remember televangelist Jim Bakker and his Praise The Lord ministry? After serving five years of a 45-year sentence for stealing millions from the church, now at age 74, he’s back in business. His “church” is selling “love gifts” for worshipers who donate enough to the website’s shopping cart. These items include bulk foods, "Superfood" legacy seeds, fuel-efficient generators (and a "foldable solar panel"), vitamins and supplements – and, of course, CDs and DVDs of Bakker's inspirational and prophetic messages. BUT TURN-OFF CELL PHONES
Don’t you hate waiting in line, with others in front and behind you? What if you had bodies above and below? Banwell Parish Council in Somerset, UK,  knowing St. Andrew’s Church had only 70 burial plots left, begun considering using GreenAcre Solutions, which offers a modular stacking system, allowed bodies in coffins to be stacked 4-deep. WHAT A GUY - PRAISE GOD
Egyptian Salafist preacher Osama al-Qusi proclaimed, via fatwa in August 2014, that men could properly spy on women bathing, but only if they have "pure intentions." He wrote, “If a man intended to marry the woman, he might learn some things otherwise unrevealed before the ceremony.” (The Guardian/London, 8-22-14)
